Remote Vitals Care

The heart,
monitored continuously.

Removi develops a wrist-worn ECG device enabling continuous cardiac monitoring and early detection of atrial fibrillation — wherever the patient is.

In nearly 1 in 5 stroke patients, atrial fibrillation is only discovered during the hospitalisation that follows.

Vision

Remote monitoring for the conditions that matter most.

Right now, we’re focused on detecting atrial fibrillation — one of the most common cardiac arrhythmias, and one that often goes unnoticed until real damage is done. It’s where we start, not where we stop: our long-term aim is remote monitoring and diagnostics for the critical conditions that shape people’s lives, wherever they are.

The product

Continuous ECG. Wrist-worn. Clinically actionable.

Removi’s device captures ECG data continuously and streams it securely to clinical staff — enabling remote monitoring and automated arrhythmia detection.

Two Removi wristbands — one for each wrist

Design concept

01

24/7 Monitoring

Continuous ECG capture without interruption to daily life. The device records every heartbeat — at rest, during activity, and through the night.

02

Remote Access

Clinicians view real-time data and receive automated alerts through a secure dashboard. No appointment needed.

03

AFib Detection

Onboard algorithms continuously analyse rhythm patterns and flag arrhythmia episodes for immediate clinical review.

Applications

One wearable, two clinical settings.

At its core, Removi is a remote monitoring device: two wristbands that follow the patient continuously, wherever they are. The same device serves different clinical needs.

Cardiology

AFib & arrhythmia detection

A continuous single-lead ECG, recorded over extended periods while the patient goes about daily life. The aim is to detect atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias, including episodes that come and go, and give clinicians the recording they need to make a diagnosis.

  • Continuous single-lead ECG (lead I)
  • Extended recording periods
  • Focus: detecting arrhythmias
Hospital at home

Remote monitoring at home

For patients hospitalised at home, Removi follows vital signs such as heart rate and rhythm continuously, so the clinical team can keep track of the patient's overall condition. The focus is not on a specific arrhythmia; the aim is to detect signs of deterioration early.

  • Continuous monitoring of vital signs
  • Overview of the patient's condition
  • Focus: detecting deterioration

Removi is in development. Intended uses are subject to clinical validation and regulatory approval.

Technology

How it works.

From the patient’s wrist to the clinician’s screen — three steps that turn continuous heart signals into actionable insight.

01

Capture

A medical-grade ECG sensor on the wrist records the heart’s electrical signal continuously, sampling every heartbeat day and night without disrupting daily life.

02

Analyse

On-device algorithms process the raw signal in real time, filtering noise and screening rhythm patterns for the irregularities that characterise atrial fibrillation.

03

Transmit

Findings stream securely and encrypted to a clinical dashboard, where staff review the data remotely and receive automated alerts the moment an episode is detected.

Medical-grade signal

Single-lead ECG quality validated against clinical reference standards.

Edge processing

Arrhythmia screening runs on the device to minimise latency and data load.

Secure by design

End-to-end encryption and privacy built to meet healthcare data requirements.

Clinical integration

Data delivered in a format that fits existing hospital and remote-care workflows.

Regulatory

A medical device in development.

Removi is developing a medical device, and we are early in that journey. We are actively working toward the regulatory approvals required to bring continuous cardiac monitoring safely to patients and clinicians.

Our device is currently in development and is not yet certified or approved for clinical use. We are committed to meeting the applicable medical device regulations and clinical standards as we progress, and we will not make claims about clinical performance until they have been properly validated.
